UoH professor win Bhasha Bharathi Award for making an interpretation of Kannada classic to English

Dr Shivarama Padikkal, Professor of Translation Studies at the Center for Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies (CALTS), University of Hyderabad (UoH) and Dr Vanamala Viswanatha has been decided for the Kuvempu Bhasha Bharathi Pradhikara Annual Book Award for interpretation from Kannada to English-2020 for their new interpretation of Indira Bai published by Oxford University Press (2019).
