Television actress Chaitra Rai on Kannada actors being favored in Telugu shows
Chaitra Rai turned an easily recognized name with her noteworthy TV performances including Attarintlo Akkachellellu of late. In her profession traversing almost 10 years, she is one of the few Kannada actors who cut a specialty for herself in the Telugu TV industry. She is at present on a sabbatical because of individual reasons. In her new visit with ETimes TV, Chaitra uncovered that she, as well, had experienced individuals who disapproved of Kannada actors being projected in Telugu shows.
"During the initial days of my career, a co-actor on the sets sulked about casting Kannada actors (me) in the show keeping Telugu actors aside. That person felt a ban should also be imposed on Kannada actors and said it aloud so that I should hear it," recalls Chaitra.
